Overview

When you set up your business in a foreign country, understanding and managing import and export procedures proves to be among the most challenging tasks.

Corporate Leaps guides you through all the procedures and processes at every stage of your business activity.

Importer Export Code (IEC)

IEC Code is an essential document to facilitate any import activity in India.

This is issued by the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT). Any company intending to apply for IEC Code should have a local bank account and PAN (Permanent Account Number) issued by the Income Tax Department.

Customs Clearing & Handling

Bill of Entry (online) is filed for customs clearing of import shipments.

Our team, armed with comprehensive knowledge of due process, will classify the products in the right chapter to allow notification benefits wherever available. We also get the assessment done and assist in procuring clearing for the shipment within the shortest time possible.

DEPB & EOU

Duty Entitlement Passbook Scheme (DEPB) is an export incentive scheme.

On the other hand, EOU (Export Oriented Unit Scheme) is managed by the Export Promotion Council and it facilitates exports from India. We can arrange complete documentation and assist in management of DEPB & EOUs.

Shipments for Trade Exhibitions

Shipments for trade exhibitions can be imported through ATA Carnet and cleared without payment of custom duty. Our team can handle the entire process from import to re-export of the shipment.

Re-export

Goods imported and found defective can be re-exported by getting GR(goods returned) waiver from the bank and imported after repair/replacement

Information to Clients

Apart from managing all the above activities, we will keep you posted on the latest amendments in policy, custom duty, and processes.
